We ran the draft simulator and got the draft order for the official first mock of the 2018 NHL Draft for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the rest of the NHL.

The NHL playoffs are set for the Toronto Maple Leafs and 15 other teams. Those that missed out on the postseason have cleaned out their lockers.

It’s the best time of the year in the NHL, and a time to look forward to playoff matchups. If you’re on the outside looking in, however, you are likely looking at the offseason. More importantly, the draft.

With the NHL Draft Lottery taking place in Toronto in less than a month, it’s time to break out the simulators to determine who will be the lucky team to select Rasmus Dahlin first overall.

We ran the simulation 10 times, in order to get a fair result. Every team outside of the lottery is seeded by the current standings. With the lottery order determined, here is the first official mock draft for the 2018 class.
