Buffalo Bills mock draft 1.0: First two rounds of the 2018 draft
By James Reeve
The Buffalo Bills hold four picks across the first two rounds of the 2018 NFL Draft and they must address a number of needs on either side of the ball.
The Buffalo Bills squeaked into the playoffs with a 9-7 record last season on the back of the sixth-best rushing game in the league, led largely by stud running back LeSean McCoy.
The team has now parted ways with starting QB Tyrod Taylor and have lost starting center Eric Wood to a career-ending injury.
So with the 2018 NFL draft quickly approaching, we take a first look at the potential picks the team will make.
This is an early mock draft that will likely be updated depending on any moves the team makes ahead of the draft, which takes place on April 26.
There are some things that have been assumed with these picks, however, to make things easier to explain.
With a number of quarterbacks available in free agency, the assumption here is that the team is likely to target any one of Kirk Cousins, Teddy Bridgewater, AJ McCarron or Sam Bradford.
As the team will likely land one of this big fish, they will not be trading down in this mock draft to target the likes of Baker Mayfield.
Therefore, the picks will remain as they currently are and will show which players the Bills could potentially draft if they choose to stand pat come draft day.
