In the aftermath of Marcus Stroman’s arbitration loss, we look at why the Toronto Blue Jays need to offer him a contraction extension sooner than later.

Marcus Stroman went to Twitter to express his frustrations with the arbitration process after losing his case to the Toronto Blue Jays last week. He has since deleted the Tweets, but he stood by his thoughts:

"“I’m sorry if I vented my frustration in the wrong way,” he said. “Your team is pretty much saying negative things about you and you have to be okay with it and deal with it.”"

"Just being real. Not mad at all. I’m aware of the business. Just opens your eyes going through the arbitration process. Second time going through it. Still love my team and the entire country of Canada. More upset that I had to fly to AZ and miss my Monday workout. Lol"
