Bad: 2017 Away Kit

This design had the potential to be good. The red background really pushes out the BMO logo, with the crest and Adidas sign hovering over it. The Adidas stripes down the side aren’t too shabby, but they aren’t the best looking either.

The blue on the shorts and on some parts of the jersey really pushed down the value of this jersey. Maybe they were waiting to put out the white design for this year, but the blue still didn’t match with the Reds’ color scheme.

It could’ve been better if they put black on the shorts or something along those lines. As mentioned before, a second or third look at the kit before it was released really could have made the design better.

However, TFC did claim a lot of silverware wearing these. Thankfully, Toronto didn’t wear these all that often either.
