2. The Bills are one step closer to the playoffs

Thanks to their win the Bills continue to hold on to their spot as the AFC’s second wild-card team after leapfrogging the Baltimore Ravens last week.

But there still is a very small margin of error for the Bills to work with over the next two weeks.

As Peter Schrager of Good Morning Football explains, with two games remaining the Bills have a 96 per cent chance of making the playoffs if they win both games and a 53 per cent chance if they lose one of those games.

At 8-6 the Bills are still tied with the Ravens who also won against the Cleveland Browns but are ahead on tie-breakers. They are also remain one game ahead of Los Angeles Chargers who are 7-7.

But the good news for Bills fans is that the team gained ground on the Tennessee Titans who are the first wild-card team in the AFC.

The Bills are now tied with the Titans following their surprising loss to the San Francisco 49ers and depending on the outcomes of next week the Bills could trade places with the Titans.
