In their final home game of the season the Buffalo Bills did not disappoint their fans as they marched past the Miami Dolphins 24-16 to maintain their spot as the second AFC wild-card team.

The road to the playoffs for the Buffalo Bills made its final stop at New Era Field on Sunday with the Bills giving their fans one last regular season home win against the Miami Dolphins.

While the snow didn’t return to Buffalo like last week, the Bills still put on a show for their fans as LeSean McCoy carved up another opposing defence for the third straight week.

In doing so McCoy reached a milestone that puts him in elite company among the best running backs of all time.

Tyrod Taylor returned from his knee injury that he suffered against the Colts and once again provided a turnover free game to provide a steady performance under centre for the Bills.

On defence the Bills made the Dolphins uncomfortable in the passing game and stifled a Miami offence that was riding high after upsetting the New England Patriots the week before.

With the win the Bills are on a two game winning streak and will hit the road for the final two games of the regular season with the goal of snapping the longest playoff drought in North America.

Here are our five takeaways from the Bills’ win against the Dolphins.
