Teams going after the Stanley Cup usually are willing to give a lot for a player at the deadline. The Chicago Blackhawks have given a fair share over the years to aid them with their success.

Out of all the true Stanley Cup contenders, Chicago seems like the most realistic destination for Kane. The Hawks have a plethora of talent that they could give for the likes of Kane. Buffalo scouts reportedly attended a Rockford IceHogs game.

Chicago is already deep at the wing. Kane could be added to the mix that would certainly mean another trip to at least the Western Conference Finals for the Blackhawks.

But are prospects really worth enough for Kane? The quick answer is no. Plus, the Hawks haven’t really been in a position over the years to select top end talent at the draft.
