4. Kelvin Benjamin has a modest debut for the Bills
One result of Tyrod Taylor struggling all game against the Saints defence, aside from being benched, is that newly acquired wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin saw limited action in his Bills debut.
Benjamin led all Bills receivers with three catches and 42 receiving yards in the game but was targeted infrequently to make a major impact in the game.
While he was on the field for the majority of Buffalo’s offensive snaps Benjamin was targeted only during the opening drive of the game and late in the game when Nathan Peterman took over.
The Bills threw to Kelvin Benjamin three times on the first drive. His next target came with Nathan Peterman in the game.

The Bills are trailing by 34 points, and Kelvin Benjamin still hasn't been targeted since the first series of the game. Inexcusable.

This should change quickly going forward as Benjamin continues to work his way into the Bills offence while the coaching staff works on a better offensive game plan for the remainder of the season.
