Buffalo Bills let the New Orleans Saints march all over them: 5 takeaways
By Curtis Panke
We share five takeaways as the Buffalo Bills fail to move up in the AFC playoff picture for the second straight week, losing 47-10 to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon.
After last week’s rough trip to the Meadowlands against the New York Jets the Buffalo Bills returned to New Era Field on Sunday afternoon to take on the NFC South leading New Orleans Saints.
The Bills looked to bounce back from their Week 9 loss in the confides of their home field and continue their push towards a coveted AFC playoff spot.
But a lot of the issues the Bills faced in Week 9 stuck with them in Week 10 as the Saints dominated the game from start to finish.
The Saints controlled ball possession with a high-powered running game from multiple running backs that the Bills couldn’t stop. While their defence limited Buffalo to scoring one touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
As a result Buffalo lost their first home game of the season and their playoff push suffered another major setback.
Here are five takeaways from the Bills’ loss to the Saints on Sunday.
