Last home start as a member of the Blue Jays

The last two starts as a member of the Blue Jays were a perfect send off for Halladay. The Blue Jays won both games and Halladay went the distance in both of them.

His final appearance in a Blue Jays uniform was at Fenway Park against the Boston Red Sox with Toronto winning 12-0. Halladay allowed only three hits and two walks throwing 100 inning and recording six strikeouts.

Jose Bautista, Lyle Overbay had home runs while Randy Ruiz had a multi-homer night with Tim Wakefield getting credit for the loss.

Just before the Red Sox game, Halladay made his final home appearance against the Seattle Mariners and once again it was a trademark start.

The Mariners could not muster up much offensively as Halladay went the distance allowing only seven hits while striking out nine.

Both teams were unable to get much offensively until the sixth inning as Aaron Hill hit a home run to left field scoring Bautista.

Halladay would go on to finish the season with a 17-10 record, an ERA of 2.79, nine complete games and matching and recording a career-high four shutouts.
