Let’s talk about the opponents for a minute. The Hurricanes looked great out there during the game.

Their defence is just as good as advertised. Jaccob Slavin, Noah Hanifin, Brett Pesce, Justin Faulk and Haydn Fleury were all solid (Not too sure who their sixth defender was, wasn’t paying attention).
Scott Darling was good enough to get his team the win and their star players showed up when they needed them. Jeff Skinner, Elias Lindholm, Teravainen and Rask all had good games and the better team took care of business.
They scored so much, the refs didn’t even have time to fish the pucks out of the net.
