5) CAROLL MAKES HIS RETURN TO THE 6IX– Friday, Dec. 15

This will mark DeMarre Carroll‘s first game back as a member of the Brooklyn Nets. After a disappointing two-year stay in Toronto, the Raptors traded the 31-year-old half way through his four-year, $58 million deal.

6) VINSANITY – Sunday, Dec. 17

Two days after Carroll’s comeback, Vince Carter will play in front of the Raptors faithful. This will be the former Raptor’s first appearance in Toronto since the Carter Effect was aired at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last month. The film looked back at the positive effect Carter had on basketball in Canada and establishing the Toronto Raptor as an NBA team.

Toronto’s all-time points per game leader has faced his fair share of boos from Raptors fans, since being traded to the New Jersey Nets in 2004. It will be interesting to see how the crowd reacts this time.
