Toronto Raptors: 14 bold predictions for the 2017-18 season
By Demar Grant
14) DeMar Derozan scores 50 points in a game
DeRozan dropped seven (!!) 40 point games last season when he hadn’t dropped one in the two seasons prior. Last year, my rationale was simple, he was due for a 40 point game.
Now, with the new offence and a new weapon in the 3-point shot, 50 points is within reach. There are a lot of really bad teams in the league this year, Chicago, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Orlando the Knicks, the Pacers.
The Raps get to play these teams multiple times this year. DeRozan has a lot of chances to pop off.
