The best moments from the Air Canada Centre era

#1: Mats Sundin’s 500th Career Goal
The 2006-07 season was difficult for the Leafs, but it was a great season for longtime captain Mats Sundin.
In his second last season with the Buds, Sundin finished the year with 27 goals and 76 points in 75 games.
His biggest game of the season came on October 14, when Sundin potted his 500th career goal. The Leafs and Flames were into overtime, tied at 4 when Sundin took the puck in his own zone and led a 3-on-2 rush up the ice. Right as he crossed over the blueline, he fired a slapshot over the glove of Miikka Kiprusoff to win the game.
The arena erupted as one of the best Leafs of all-time reached another major milestone in his illustrious career.
Although Sundin’s final memory in Toronto was him donning a Canucks jersey in his return to the Air Canada Centre, his 500th goal is something that nobody in that arena will forget.

There is still some time for the Leafs and Raptors to make more memories at the ACC but it will be tough to match some of these.
