Jake Tortora

LW / 5’8″ / 161 lbs / Victor, New York, USA / U.S. National U18 Team

Tortora was one of the youngest participants at development camp at 17. He spent the majority of last season with the U.S. National U18 Team, but also played for the USNTDP Juniors in the USHL.

With the U18’s, he scored 38 points in 51 games. Tortora showed great production in the USHL, scoring 17 points in as many games.

He produced in a big way, scoring a hat trick in each of the first two camp scrimmages.

In the last scrimmage of camp, Tortora scored another goal while displaying great persistence on the puck.

Tortora has committed to Boston College and is set to join the Eagles program in 2018. He has a lot of time to develop for the time being, but should be getting calls from NHL teams if the Leafs don’t scoop him up.

He looks like the player to keep an eye on from this camp.
