Toronto Argonauts: Three takeaways from Saturday night’s win
3) S.J Green has a game to remember
S.J Green was told at one point in his career he will never get back on a football field and play another game again.
Turns out, that person was wrong and since being acquired by the Argonauts in the offseason, he continues to turn back the clock with a game to remember against the Redbacks.
Green became the first Argonaut since Derrell Mitchell against the Edmonton Eskimos on September 26th, 1998 to have more than 200 receiving yards in a game.
The former Alouette finished with 210 yards, ten catches, and one touchdown. His 55 yard touchdown in the third quarter added on to an Argonaut dominated quarter and helped lead them to the win.

In week one against the Tiger-Cats, he caught for 124 yards and made seven catches (four looking impossible to be made) but was held in check against the B.C. Lions in week two.
Needless to say, his week three performance was a bounce back week and continues to prove to the doubters that an injury won’t stop the 11 year veteran.
