The Toronto Argonauts and the Ottawa Redblacks had another back and forth battle in their week three matchup. However, it was the boatmen who stole the win at TD Place and stand tall in the Eastern Division.

The Toronto Argonauts played their first road game of the season and in a tight battle, came out with the 26-25 win against the defending Grey Cup champion Ottawa Redblacks.

Ottawa came out strong in the first quarter scoring eleven points followed by a single in the second. The Argonauts were quiet in the first two quarters, scoring only a single in the second.

However it wasn’t until the third quarter that the Argonauts would turn it on offensively. After penalties cost them opportunities in the first half, they went on to score 13 unanswered points and lead heading into the fourth quarter.

However Ottawa kept fighting back and in the dying seconds missed a 59 yard field goal that gave the Argos the win. Both teams scored 13 points in the fourth quarter to close off a wild game.
