Where the club needs to continue to improve on

If the Blue Jays are going to go all in on a rebuild they will need to get as much help with their farm system as possible. Toronto’s top 30 prospect list lacks Major League ready players, as Rowdy Tellez is the only player in Triple-A and Anthony Alford is the only player with MLB experience.

Blue Jays President recently spoke about the team’s philosophy on rebuilding, as reported by Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi

"“If we build this organization through our philosophy with an obsessive focus on acquiring and developing the best young talent and strategically building a balanced major-league roster, we will have an opportunity to sustain a championship-calibre team,” he said. “And I still believe we can get through that transition in an expedited time frame.”"

Continuing to focus on the international market and spending money on top players will be key for the Blue Jays long term success. Pardinho is obviously a long way away from helping the big league team but these signings along with smart drafting, and prospect focused trades could help Toronto restock the farm.
