Moving On

Leafs nation didn’t just have reactions to who was coming in, but for who was moving out. Brian Boyle and Matt Hunwick signed elsewhere July 1st. Boyle took a two-year, $2.55 million deal with the New Jersey Devils and Hunwick signed a three-year, $2.25 million deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Boyle grew on the hearts of Leafs fans after he was acquired many wanted to see him return. It was a roller coaster with Hunwick in his two years with the team but Leafs fans seemed to warm up to him in the final months of the season.
