Re-signing the goaltenders
One of the first signings to be announced addressed the Leafsβ backup position as Curtis McElhinney and Garret Sparks were brought back. McElhinney received a two-year, $1.7 million deal while Sparks will be making $1.3 million for the same term.
When called on to take the crease, McElhinney did his job. Good back up. Glad he resigned. #Leafs
