1) Get to Zach Collaros quick

For the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, quarterback Zach Collaros will make his third season opening start since joining the team. The man who led Hamilton to a Grey Cup appearance in 2014, missed the first eight weeks of the 2016 season due to a torn ACL suffered the previous year.

However, once he came back, he was still as dominant as ever. Collaros threw for 2,938 yards, 18 touchdowns and only threw six interceptions. Despite posting a starting record of 2-7, Collaros can still be an efficient quarterback, posting a QB rating of 100.6.

However, the defence can slip up a bit. The Ti-Cats defensive crew allowed 39 sacks, 5th most in the CFL in 2016. With those sacks, 13 of them were handed to Collaros in his half season of play.

With players like Shawn Lemon, who led the Argos in sacks last year with 14, will likely pressure the Ti-Cats offensive line all game. It’s something Hamilton will make note of to avoid allowing a high number of sacks.
