3) Marco Estrada

Despite the fact fans aren’t able to vote for the pitching staff for an All-Star game, it doesn’t hurt to wonder which Blue Jays’ pitcher could get the call to fly to Miami? Opening Day starter Marco Estrada may very well be that guy.

Despite four of his five starts ending up being no decisions and taking a loss against the Rays on April 9, Estrada has continued to fight and keep his team in the game.

Estrada threw a 2.70 ERA in April with 33 strikeouts, while allowing just 10 walks.

As mentioned in a previous article, Estrada steps up in the month of May. If he continues to show dominance on the mound, there’s a chance MLB could make him part of the American League pitching staff.
