Wide Receiver Zay Jones (Round 2, 37th Overall)
Grade: A-
Bio: Payed at East Carolina / 6 foot 2 / 201 pounds
Resume: 2016 First Team All-American, all-time FBS receptions leader
Strengths: Hardly drops anything thrown his way, reliable chain-mover, not afraid of contact and thrives in the slot, another well-respected character guy, ultimate competitor with excellent work ethic.
Weaknesses: Not a game-breaker – as evidenced by his career receiving average of 10.7 yards, slim build (although the Bills can help him bulk up), not a particularly effective run-blocker.
Overall: Even though Jones was projected as a second rounder heading into the draft, he still seems somewhat like a steal. Will have a chance to compete for a starting job right away, albeit due to the lack of strength in the Bills’ receiving corps.
