Have you ever pulled a prank on a teammate?

“Yes I have, a long time ago, on one of my teammates in college, who happened to be DeMarcus Cousins…I accidentally drank his orange juice out of the refrigerator… And blamed it on John Wall. so… I’m sorry.”

I love these ‘serious interviews’, everything about them from the jazz music to the dead pan interviewer to the somewhat abstract questions. Nothing says serious like the interviewee wearing their game jersey instead of an actual suit.

Patterson is a smart man. He made a mistake and where your mom says to admit to the mistake and apologize, he makes the wise decision in blaming John Wall when he drinks DeMarcus Cousins‘ juice.

Have you seen the wrath enacted by Cousins’ on the court? Now imagine that in a house with just you and him. Honesty isn’t always the best policy.
