Buffalo Bills Mock Draft 2017: 4 Best First Round Options
By Paul Taylor
2) Jamal Adams
Adams has scouts everywhere drooling, and with good reason. He has everything you look for in a safety and is always around the ball.
The 21-year old has size (6 foot and 214 pounds) and never shies away from contact. His versatility means he is also capable of playing at either strong or free safety.
Perhaps most important of all, Adams is an alpha-male who has natural leadership skills. After all the discipline issues of the previous two seasons under Rex Ryan, along with the uncertainty over Aaron Williams‘ future, he could just be what the Doctor ordered.
The Lewisville, Texas native was named First-team All-SEC in 2016. Ironically though, he actually played better the previous season, as he racked up four interceptions, six pass defenses, 67 tackles and one forced fumble for LSU.
Overall, there is little to dislike about Adams. If the Bills select him, there is an excellent change he will become an immediate starter.
