1) Is Jozy Altidore capable of remaining healthy?

When Jozy Altidore is on, he’s pretty damn close to unplayable. Look no further than what he did during the second half of the 2016 campaign.

Through the final 14 games of the regular season, the 27-year old scored 10 goals and added three assists. However, even this was nothing compared to his exploits during the postseason.

In six games, Altidore was sensational, with five goals and four assists. Yes, he came up short in the final, but even that was only because of an out-of-this-world save by Stefan Frei in extra time.

With everything the US international achieved last season, he now has the chance to build on this and be even more effective in 2017. Ironically, the only thing that can probably stop the striker is himself.

Most TFC fans are well aware of Altidore’s history with hamstring issues, which has seen a change in his training regime and diet. His durability still hangs over him, but if he can remain healthy, the rest of the league better watch out.
