Best Occupant of Robidas Island

Although these players are technically on the team, we know the “injured reserve” really just means “Robidas Island.” More or less, we just wanted to find a way to include Joffrey Lupul.

Chris Okrainetz: The Toronto Maple Leafs have actually banished Joffrey Lupul from the organization. I mean, aside from his announcement during training camp, we haven’t heard anything about Lupul.

Although, I must admit, his cryptic Instagram post back in October was hilarious.

If you skim through his Instagram, you’ll see a couple scenic photos of Robidas Island, like this one. Keep living the dream, Lups.

Dave Morassutti: How the Leafs have been able to get away with so many players occupying Robidas Island is beyond me — maybe there is an actual island that we are not aware of.

Anyway, Lupul must be loving the accommodations there because no one has heard from him and while people are not complaining, you wonder if he tries to make an escape at some point.
