Honourable Mention:

This wasn’t necessarily a Raptors moment, but it was a gigantic moment for Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, which is why it deserves to be mentioned.

Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan Win Gold

With a number of superstars declining to play for Team USA at the Rio Olympics, Lowry and DeRozan were given an opportunity to showcase what they can do for the red, white and blue.

The US cruised to a gold medal, but the Raptors dynamic backcourt duo did play a role in the team’s path to a gold medal. Lowry provided stability to their second unit and facilitated the offence for Coach K, while DeRozan contributed minutes off the bench too, but fans will likely remember him for his ferocious dunks during this Olympic tour, particularly the one he where he tried to “VC” a Chinese defender.
