6) A New Beginning

The Leafs unveiled a new team logo and jersey this year, which marked a new beginning in a sense. The new logo celebrated the team’s 100-year history and welcomed back an older retro look that embraced the team’s past success from before 1967.

Fans seemed to like the new logo, as the general reception on Twitter — and people I spoke with — was that it maintained the Maple Leafs traditional look and ushered in a few subtle changes, which was reflective of the where the franchise is currently at.
