7) Carl Grundstrom – LW Frolunda (SHL):

Yet another prospect who will more than likely become a fan favorite with the Marlies and/or Leafs, Grundstrom plays an incredibly heavy and irritating style of play that you either love or you hate.

A professional pest, Grundstrom has been shooting the lights out for Frolunda in the Swedish Elite League with an impressive 14 goals in 36 games playing against men. While I wouldn’t expect Grundstrom to be a high-end scorer at the NHL level, he is incredibly valuable as a penalty killer and third line winger who can chip in offensively and is a terrific skater.

Grundstrom is described as an excellent teammate and should be a key piece for team Sweden at the World Junior Championships in Toronto/Montreal for the always-dangerous Swedes.
