Welcome to the Toronto Raptors Quarterly Awards, the award show where everything is made up and the awards don’t matter. Yep, the awards don’t matter just like the Grammy’s and the Oscars, the only difference is we don’t make people dress up for ours.

I like giving out awards every quarter season because the narrative is so apt to change in the NBA it’s hard to remember what we were originally talking about. One day we’re talking about whether Jared Sullinger will be a good fit for the Raptors, the next we’re debating whether Patrick Patterson should be inserted into the starting lineup.The first chapter in the NBA season has just ended and with 20-ish games in the bank it’s time to look back on some of the most memorable events that will seem like a by-gone era in April.
