Bills Hogs Dominate

The Bills’ offensive line has been fantastic all year long and they continued their dominance in Seattle. Richie Incognito and the rest of the Bills hogs clearly won their battle at the line of scrimmage, churning out two of their three touchdowns in the game on the ground, while enabling the offence to gain 162 yards rushing while averaging 4.3 yards per carry against that highly respected Seahawks defense.

The box score shows that they let quarterback Tyrod Taylor get sacked five times, but most of those were not the line’s line’s fault, credit goes to blanket coverage from Seattle’s DBs and on plays where Taylor attempted to run but was stopped.

Consistently, in the pocket Taylor had ample time to survey the field and it showed as the pivot missed only 11 of his 38 pass attempts, completing a staggering 71 percent of them. With excellent protection, the Bills franchise QB had his best passing performance of the season and showed a national audience how lethal of a passer he can be.

Note: The brain behind the Bills O-line, center Eric Wood, went down with an injury and had to be carted off. It’s since been confirmed that the veteran’s injury is a major one.
