Everyone recognizes your Kyle Lowry‘s and DeMar DeRozan‘s, but our Three Stars of the Game offers a chance for other players on the Toronto Raptors (and other teams) to shine through.

Truly one of the greatest systems implemented to recognize individual achievement on a nightly basis is the three stars system in hockey. It has no criteria.

There is no game-by-game measurement to show us who the real stars are in the NBA, until now. Basketball is a star-driven sport, fans debate the arbitrary difference between stars and superstars every day.

The All-Star game is a way to determine who stars are. However, past the starters, it’s a popularity contest.

Marcin Gortat said that Wednesday night was a must-win, but the Wizards failed. The starters were flat until the bench infused energy into the team.

In the end, the Raptors won 113-103 in a game that had more ebbs and flows than an ocean. Let’s look at the three stars of the night.
