UNIQLO

The store that took Toronto by storm. UNIQLO just opened a store inside the Eaton Centre and residents have been producing a resounding response. There are lines forming outside of the store on a daily basis and popularity of the retail store continues to grow.

Uniqlo is a back to basics retailer. Almost none of the clothes have their logo on them and if they do it’s subtly done. The Raptors have very recently followed the trend towards a minimalist style with their uniform and their logo and UNIQLO personifies that change. The company embraces a minimalist style that is quite trendy but hasn’t been fully obtained by any retailer in the past decade.

The Raptors are the perfect place for the company to get recognition for the recently open store in Toronto along with drawing attention to the many stores in North America. Since UNIQLO, is a clothing retailer and the logo fits perfectly with the Raptors’ colour and design it could create the perception that they helped design the jerseys.
