4) LeSean McCoy

No doubt McCoy will be the first one to admit he had a poor game last weekend. Yes, he had the Bills’ one touchdown, but he struggled to find running room against the Ravens.

Overall, the 28-year averaged just 3.6 yards per carry, on 16 attempts. Throw in just 12 yards on four receptions and you have a performance he would rather forget.

Obviously the Bills need a better showing on Thursday night, as they look to win their home opener. However, this may be easier said than done against a Jets team which was second in the league against the rush last season.

New York seems to have carried this form over into the 2016 campaign, as evidenced by allowing just 57 total rushing yards against the Bengals. However, we all know McCoy has a chip on his shoulder at the best of times, and will be motivated to prove last week was an anomaly.

It is worth noting the two-time First-team All-Pro enjoyed some success against the Jets last season, averaging just under six yards per carry in the two meetings. He says he wants to be a better leader this season for the Bills, and what better place to show it than on the field against their AFC East rivals.
