1) Ryan Fitzpatrick

Fitzpatrick is one of those professional athletes who it’s tough for fans to dislike. Call him the anti-Alex Rodriguez if you will.

As such, you imagine most Bills fans wish the 33-year old all the best – except when he plays them of course. Along those lines, things worked out perfectly last season, as he enjoyed a career year, but lost twice to Buffalo.

Obviously the Bills will be hoping for similar success against the Jets this season, and all signs point towards this. That’s because Ryan has enjoyed astounding success against Fitzpatrick in the NFL.

He may be from Harvard, but the 2005 seventh rounder has struggled to work out Ryan’s defenses in 11 appearances against him. Overall, he has completed just 47 percent of his passes, for an average of 166 yards per game.

In addition, while he has thrown for 16 scores, Fitzpatrick also has 12 picks, including five in the two contests last season. Overall, he has a 1-8 record in nine starts against the Bills’ head coach and it will be interesting to see what — if anything — he does differently on Thursday night.
