7. Russell Martin

The Jays are very fortunate to have a guy like Martin hitting so low in the batting order to continue the onslaught of damage.

Although he doesn’t hit for a great average, he offers a chance to change the game with one swing of the bat. He’s shown us in the past that he comes up with timely home runs and base hits.

Martin has so much experience in the post-season and doesn’t shy away from the moment. He is the heart of the bottom of the batting order and keeps pitchers on their toes. If the pitcher doesn’t focus, he’ll make them pay.
