With the Buffalo Bills set to play their first home game at New Era Field on Thursday night against the New York Jets, we take a look at three things you should watch for.

After a disappointing Week 1 loss against the Baltimore Ravens, the Buffalo Bills look to regroup against the New York Jets. Under the bright lights of Thursday Night Football, the Bills will welcome fans to their newly named stadium, New Era Field

Hopefully the new name doesn’t alter the Bills good fortune at home, as the team is 4-1 in their last five home openers and 6-2 over the last eight years. On the flip side, the Jets are 1-4 in their last five road openers, but the one win does come with Todd Bowles in charge last season, so perhaps their recent streak of playing poorly during their first road game is about to change?

Regardless of the recent trends, both teams have a few issues they need to clean up before Thursday. The quick turnaround doesn’t help either team, but here’s a look at three things you should keep an eye on when the Bills take on the Jets.
