3) Shaq Lawson

You might be wondering why Lawson is on this list, with him set to miss at least half of the season. It’s simple – coaches and general managers are generally tied to their first-round picks, and the selection of Lawson was definitely a controversial one.

The Bills needed a pass rusher after cutting Mario Williams in the off-season and they thought they were smarter than the other teams that passed up the former Clemenson Tiger amid injury concerns. Unfortunately, to this point, their brilliant plan has backfired.

Lawson will most likely see action at some point this season and when he does we’ll see if he was worth the risk. The defense desperately needs him to be, after ranking an embarrassing 31st in sacks in 2015.
