Buffalo Bills: 4 Players Who Need to Take Advantage of Injuries
By Paul Taylor
With an ever-growing list of defensemen going down for the Buffalo Bills, we look at four players aiming to seize the opportunity in front of them.
A lot of Buffalo Bills fans would consider it somewhat of an understatement, to say the team has had to contend with a lot of injuries. In truth though, the majority of franchises around the league could make a similar claim.
Regardless, the Bills have endured a lot of casualties, especially on the defensive side of the ball. In fact, the pileup of wounded bodies is now becoming ridiculous.
Certainly, the list of players currently missing on defense is shocking:
- Shaq Lawson (expected to miss at least half the season)
- Reggie Ragland (out for the season)
- IK Enemkpali (out for the season)
- Kyle Williams (recovering from meniscus surgery)
- Manny Lawson (suffered partially torn pectoral, hoping to be back for Week 1)
- Aaron Williams (recovering from neck surgery and dealing with a concussion)
Of course, with misfortune comes opportunity for other individuals, whether it means becoming a starter, cementing a key reserve role or just improving their odds of making the 53-man roster. With this in mind, we take a look at four players who would do well to seize the chance which stands before them.
