2) Jairus Byrd

In truth, Jairus Byrd’s place on this list was never in doubt. Despite only playing five seasons in Western New York, his impact was undeniable.

In that respect, Byrd burst onto the scene during his rookie year in 2009, as he tied for the league lead, with nine interceptions. He also tied an NFL record, by picking off two or more passes in three consecutive weeks.

Even though the 29-year old had his season cut short by injury, he was voted to the Pro Bowl and named second-team All-Pro. He would go on to earn both awards two more times during his tenure with the Bills, while also earning a First-team All-Pro selection in 2012.

Unfortunately, the relationship between Byrd and the team started to sour, after the franchise tag was placed on him in 2013. The following year, he signed a six-year deal with the Saints, although he has suffered ongoing knee issues in New Orleans and has yet to reproduce the form he showed in Buffalo.
