4) A healthy season from Sammy Watkins

A lot of people were understandably concerned about Sammy Watkins ‘ availability for the start of the upcoming regular season. This wasn’t helped by conflicting and wide-ranging reports about his recovery from foot surgery, which took place little more than three months ago.

Fortunately for both Watkins and the Bills, all signs point towards his being ready to line up against Baltimore, in week one. In fact, while the team will continue to take a cautious approach with their star receiver, he is set to return to practice on August 8th.

Of course, even when the 2014 fourth overall draft pick gets back to action, it will then be a matter of his being able to stay on the field. He has battled injuries throughout his first two years in the NFL and missed three games last season.

However, Watkins is now focused on remaining healthy, by watching his diet and working more with the Bills training staff. Combine this with the positive impact from his surgery, and we expect him to surpass last season’s 1,047 receiving yards, as he takes his game to another level.
