Reggie Bush

Vital stats: Drafted second overall in 2006 / 31-years old / 6 ft 0 / 205 lbs

Career highlights: 2005 Heisman Trophy winner, 2008 First-Team All-Pro, Super Bowl XLIV champion, two-time 1,000-yard rusher

Pros: Duel rushing/receiving threat out of the backfield. Offers similar challenges as McCoy, to the opposition. Could be used as a punt returner, although he hasn’t done much of this since 2011. Will be motivated by incentive-laden, one-year deal.

Cons: Durability issues – only twice played in all 16 games in a season, including his rookie campaign in 2006. Coming back from a season-ending meniscus tear, suffered last November. Been unable to stick with anyone, with the Bills representing his fifth team in seven years.

Overall: Assuming he can stay healthy, Bush has an excellent chance to add good depth to the Bills backfield. You figure he will be used mostly as a third-down back. Questionable for his effectiveness as a punt returner at this stage of his career, although the Bills will feel they have nothing to use, after a poor showing from the unit as a whole last season.
