3) IK Enemkpali

For some, IK Enemkpali will always be simply known as the person who punched Geno Smith. However, the 2014 sixth round draft pick will be looking to make an impact on the field in 2016.

In that respect, Enemkpali could conceivably turn out to be a one of the key players on defense for the Bills. Certainly, he has a great chance, with first round draft pick Shaq Lawson not being available for the start of the upcoming season.

To his credit, the 25-year old is doing his best to grab the opportunity with both hands. After impressing at minicamp, he is expected to challenge Manny Lawson for the starting job opposite Jerry Hughes, in Ryan’s 3-4 scheme.

Helping his case, Enemkpali is arguably a better pass-rusher than Lawson, although he could struggle in coverage. In any event, he’s stated he’s prepared to do whatever is asked of him, and it will be interesting to see how he does between now and the start of the regular season.
