Name: Jarran Reed

Position: Defensive tackle

College: Alabama Crimson Tide

Career highlights: Two-time SEC Champion, 2016 CFP National Champion

Pros: Jarran Reed is widely regarded as the second-best run-stuffer in the entire draft, after his college teammate Robinson. Is rarely moved at the point of attack, due to his superior strength. Has excellent quickness off the line. Has performed well against the best teams college football has to offer.

Cons: Not as strong with his pass rushing skills. Still needs to work on his balance and in-game stamina. Was arrested during 2014 for a DUI, which no doubt teams will look into and discuss with him.

Overall: Similar to Robinson, is in a position to contribute from day one. Should thrive in Ryan’s schemes. Versatility means he can play at defensive end, but better suited to the middle. A rising talent well worth taking.
