Name: Jack Conklin
Position: Offensive tackle
College: Michigan State
Career highlights: 2015 First-Team All-American, 2015 First-Team All-Big Ten
Pros: Jack Conklin is one of the top offensive linemen in the draft, ranking as the third best tackle in college football. A good pass blocker, but tremendous in run blocking. Consistent awareness in picking up stunts and recognizing blitzes. Tough to drive backwards, due to strong upper body.
Cons: Not the most athletic of offensive tackles. Inconsistent as a pass blocker. Needs to work on pulling sweeps, stretch runs, outside zone, etc.
Overall: A perfect fit for the Buffalo fans, with his blue collar mentality and gritty play. Would fit a need at right tackle, especially with the Bills struggling on the right side of their offensive line last season. May not be a top-10, can’t miss prospect, but that helps when you’re picking 19th.
