5) Sharing with the Argonauts

For what it’s worth, this writer was always behind the plan for the Toronto Argonauts to move to BMO Field. However, that doesn’t mean there is no appreciation for the concerns of TFC fans.

Without doubt, the number one issue is how the field will be affected after an Argos game. It will only take one bad bounce off the grass resulting in a goal for the opposition, to have Toronto FC supporters up in arms.

However, it is worth noting the two schedules have taken this situation into account as much time as possible. The pitch will always have at least six days – and usually longer – to recover after Argonauts games.

Of course, there is no way of knowing for sure how this will all pan out. However, optimism is definitely the order of the day at this point, especially with both teams getting to play in a newly renovated BMO Field.
