Buffalo Bills: Top 10 Super Bowls of All Time
By Paul Taylor
6) Super Bowl XLVII
Often referred to as the “Harbaugh Bowl”, this was the first Super Bowl to feature two brothers coaching against each other. In the end, John triumphed against his younger brother, Jim.
The San Francisco 49ers entered the game with a perfect 5-0 record in the big game and looking for the win that would equal the Steelers six Super Bowls. In the end though, Ray Lewis got to retire as a champion.
At one point, it looked like the Baltimore Ravens would have little trouble, after racing out to a 28-6 lead early in the third quarter. However, a 34-minute delay for a partial power outage in the Superdome changed the momentum dramatically.
The 49ers came storming back with 17 unanswered points and had the ball at the Ravens seven, with a chance to win in the waning moments. Unfortunately for them, they turned the ball over on downs, and Baltimore held on to win 34-31.
