Buffalo Bills: Top 10 Super Bowls of All Time

9) Super Bowl XIII
You could argue this was the first Super Bowl to truly live up to the hoopla surrounding the occasion (although obviously things weren’t quite as crazy in 1979 as compared to today). This also featured the first championship rematch between two teams in the Super Bowl era.
Both the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers entered the contest looking to become the first team to win three Super Bowls. Just to add more intrigue – not that is was needed – the Cowboys were defending champions and looking to avenge their 21-17 loss in Super Bowl X.
What followed was a truly wonderful game between the two most successful franchises of the 1970s. The teams combined for nearly 700 yards, nine touchdowns and 66 points.
In the end, the Steelers deserved their win after building up a 35-17 lead. However, after battling back, the Cowboys were left to rue an earlier drop by a wide-open Jackie Smith in the end zone, which proved to be the difference in the game.
