Buffalo Bills: Top 10 Super Bowls of All Time
By Paul Taylor
10) Super Bowl XXXIV
Never has a Super Bowl been decided by such a small distance. Certainly, Kevin Dyson stretching out to the goal line is one of the most iconic images in NFL history.
Both teams entered the big game with a 13-3 record, but the St Louis Rams were seen as clear favorites. This was mainly down to a spectacular offence led by Kurt Warner, which was called “the greatest show on turf”.
The game took a while to warm up. However, after the Rams had forged out to a 16-0 lead in the third quarter, the Tennessee Titans started to fight back, before tying things up at 16-16 with just over two minutes remaining in the game.
The stage was then set for a spectacular finale, with Warner throwing his only completion of the fourth quarter – a 73-yard scoring strike to Isaac Bruce. Steve McNair responded by leading the Titans back down the field, before coming up one agonizing yard short of the end zone.
